This course is for people who have a passion for preserving our environment and wildlife for future generations. Skills and knowledge are gained in a number of areas including indigenous land management, soil and water management, controlling pests, managing the maintenance and use of machinery, maintaining and restoring natural areas. Career vocations for graduates of a Diploma in Conservation and Ecosystem Management can include the following job roles:
  • Park Ranger,
  • Environmental Officer,
  • Indigenous Land Manager, or,
  • Natural Resource Manager.
Ten (10) units make the full course with a broad range of electives to suit management or study preferences. More information about units available and packaging requirements can be found here. 

The duration of training is typically completed in 2 years for most participants.
